Best escape room we’ve done so far (and we’ve done quite a few since 2023!) We escaped this room as a duo. Usually the minimum group size is 4, but there’s leeway for those with some experience!
Wallace and Gromit: A Grand WayLocked In A RoomEscape roomIRLDid this a while ago as we are massive W&G fans! We were a group of two and escaped with 23 mins to go. The theming is absolutely brilliant!
The Magic MarketIsland Quest Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLVisited last year. Perfect for lovers of Harry Potter. Got some cool features that we haven’t seen before which had us jumping up and down like kids. Great fun, not insanely easy but still a bit of a challenge!
Decade RunnerRiddlr Escape RoomEscape roomIRLJust completed this escape room today. We enjoyed it, but found it wasn’t as good as the Hansel and Gretel room we did at Riddlr previously. There were a few tasks that required pure brute force and/or good memory - this is something my partner and I aren’t great at or massive fans of as it’s just not our style! Hence why we liked the room but didn’t love it. The more traditional puzzles (or at least puzzles we’ve done often in other escape rooms) we found fairly easy. The vibes of the room were nice, nothing over the top or particularly impressive/unique, but quite comforting. Even had time for a boogie to the sound track! Will also add staff were amazing, as they have been before!
TemplarsTrapped Escape Room OkehamptonEscape roomIRLEXTREMELY DOG FRIENDLY!!!!! We were on holiday in Devon, in April, with our dog, but escape rooms have always been an activity we love to do. When we found a dog friendly escape room near by, we just had to try it. It was such an amazing experience to share with our best pal. He thoroughly enjoyed it and was treated like a king. He also loved ‘helping’ us out. The theming was absolutely incredible - no words can accurate get this across! We didn’t manage to escape - although the host told us we were close, when he walked us through the remaining, we definitely would’ve needed a lot longer to complete it! It was difficult, with lots to do, but it also didn’t match our escape room style as we struggle with being observant, finding hidden objects and thinking a bit more abstractly. However, for other escapers, this may be a perfect match!
