Pushed for TimeEscape PlanEscape roomIRLWow! One of the best escape rooms I have done. Some very new style and well thought out problems. The theme was fantastic and ran through all the rooms. There were novel aspects that really made you feel like you were in the Time Machine. Not completely linear so enough for a group to be getting on with but equally doable for smaller groups. Our host charis stayed in character and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Hidden TempleClockwise Escape Room - OaklandEscape roomIRLReally fun room with some great puzzles. We had a group of 6 and there were enough puzzles for people to be working on individually. Well dressed room and took most of the time to complete (some of the group was fairly new to escape rooms). Would highly recommend!
Mansion MurderEscapology - Fisherman's WharfEscape roomIRLA linear theme with a very well dressed room. The puzzles were fun and we were able to do them quite quickly. A couple of puzzles were showing their age and we did manage to do them without actually completing the task. Maybe could have done with a few more challenges for the time. There were a few leaps that had to be made but in general was an enjoyable room.
Who Stole Mona?Escapology - StonestownEscape roomIRLThe flow was very odd. Some of the ways to solve the puzzles was not intuitive and made weird jumps between what you had in the room and how you had to do to solve. Just a single room. Wouldn’t advise for large groups as a very linear room.
Journey To AtlantisEscape Hunt KingstonEscape roomIRLThe last half was better but the first half was so abstract. There were many clues that were running in tandem but very challenging to see. I have done a fair few escape rooms but didn’t enjoy this one. Not an escape room I would recommend. The staff were lovely though.
