Mission's Breakout: The Ultimate Bank HeistMission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLSo fun! There was a good amount of puzzles and I love how they all tied together with the theme. Def recommend this one if you’re in the area.
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - San JoseEscape roomIRLLoved the atmosphere! This one was fun and had a great mix of all types of puzzles. The staff were also super accommodating - we wanted to do it just the 2 of us and in the last 10 mins before our game, a team of 4 joined our room since it’s public. They let us switch to a later time…then a team of 6 joined us last minute as well - we asked if we could do next one (11:55pm) since it didn’t feel like we would get any game time with a random other team of 6. It all worked out for us to do it on our own and the GM & staff were super helpful.
Forsaken TempleOmescape - SunnyvaleEscape roomIRLWe were excited for this one, but it unfortunately fell short. The excessive back and forth movement felt restrictive and the game was entirely too linear - especially because it requires a few people so you can’t split up, and everyone has to just follow around for each task. The storyline was also “required” to pay attention to but it was extremely convoluted and didn’t match up…I had no idea what the actual point of this story was. The puzzles were a stretch and it seemed like prerecorded hints were needed at every turn. There was a lot going on and it was high tech, but it didn’t justify the price. $60 per person felt excessive for this.
