Murder at Denbrough Mansion

It was as if Clue became an escape room! Loved it! We had to use our detective skills to figure out who committed the murder, with what weapon, and why!!! Loved it! This was great on its own but it was also a competition room and we were able to play against another team who happened to be playing at the same time. (We won! But that's besides the point!) The room is a well appointed dining room with table, sideboard, and a China cabinet - your basic affair. I understand that it is a single room but I was hoping for a little more pizazz. The puzzles were solid and I enjoyed that they were blended into the suspects. A solid room and I look forward to playing the new mystery in the future.

This one is fun but it’s about solving a murder instead of escaping. Would’ve like it more if I knew a murderer was after us.

Storyline is interesting, gameplay wasn’t fun. We figured out the murderer within the first 15 minutes with a clue on the board and the rest of the time was spent gathering the evidence to prove it. Lots of easy guesswork that we solved things that we didn’t have clues for. For the price we paid, it didn’t feel like a fulfilling experience. However—big kudos for trying a different variant of the escape room!

This room was ok. It was unique in that instead of trying to escape you are trying to solve a murder. The plot was a little thing, but there were some cool puzzles, with unique tricks/trap doors/etc. One of the puzzles was a bit fussy and frustrating and took us quite a bit of time. All others were fairly easy to solve. This would be a great room for beginners!

The gm did say theyll be shutting down this game soon do replace it with something new! Its their longest running game! I think it was fun for the experience - definitely more murder mystery than escape room but still fun!

This was such a fun room! Had a couple of really cool puzzles and then having to figure out the murder at the end was great! Also, our gamemaster was so nice!

Excellent whodunit murder mystery room! Though the room itself is simply designed, the mystery is very logical, which is all I ask for in a good case. There aren’t a lot of puzzles, but the few solved to get evidence are clever and again, logical. Some tasks were a bit finicky, though. The investigative board encourages lots of note-taking and deduction, and the meta puzzle of how you know what goes where on the deduction board was smart. There were even surprises I wasn’t expecting. Pinning the murderer was satisfying, and I encourage super sleuths to put their detective skills to the test at this mystery dinner party!
