The Lab: Lockdown

Definitely a unique experience. Loved the creativity required to “solve” the very real physical problems put in front you. All but one “puzzle” is different than any other escape room you’ll find. This room is for you if you want to integrate physicality into your escape and don’t mind the potential of being a little sweaty or bumped around by the end of it. The room is feeling a bit older, revamping a bit of the props, especially the ones you need to interact with a lot, would probably help with immersion and feeling less frustrated at some points. But since that’s my only concern I’m now very excited to try out their newest room (which apparently is even more physical)

I've heard so many good things about this room, and most of our friends have been long time ago. Since we live in Kitchener/Waterloo region, it was quite an effort recruiting friends who haven't been already. I've been wanting to try this one for so long, but the experience was truly disappointing. I've heard so many praises about how immersive and real world this room is, but it wasn't the case in 2025 anymore. Literally everything has stickers saying "not part of the game, no use", and there's only THE prop left to use. Yes, there's a physical component to it, still stand out a little from other rooms. But in terms of the mechanics, I'd say below average compared to new rooms nowadays. Nevertheless, I still want to try the other two rooms, just to confirm if it was my expectation or actually dropped room quality. Last but not least, the staff greeting us was surprisingly rude, but I will let this one go, maybe just a bad mood day.

Loved it! As other reviewers have mentioned very different from other escape rooms, they definitely want you using your common sense. Was tricky and much more physical than I anticipated. More the style with a few bigger puzzles rather than smaller, but you won’t find like clues to decipher things so much because it’s very non-traditional. Much more like how it would actually be if you were really trying to escape somewhere! Am excited to try their other rooms.

This was very different and very cool. Enjoyed the experience.

One of the BEST, if not THE BEST escape rooms in the GTA. There are no puzzles, the entire room is based on logic. The gameplay and immersive feel is unmatched by any other company. We were so blown away!!! Definitely recommend !!!!

One of my favourite rooms ever. Not because of the immersion or theme or even the tech. But because of how different it is. Revo makes games that rely on real-world problem solving which is actually quite underestimated. This was a refreshing and challenging game that had us thinking in a completely different way than ever before. The level of physicality isn’t for everyone but we absolutely loved that aspect of it. We want more of these rooms! They’re such a cool way to implement common escape room themes but with a gameplay like you’ve never experienced before. Kudos to Revo for finding a way to stand out in such a saturated market.

Wow!!! Revo is NOT your average escape room. This is a room for people who like the physical aspect of room escapes! You will sweat! The thought process required for this room is based in real world rules of play, you will not find riddles in here! Use your real world wits and you will LOVE this experience! One of my all time favs, but, hey, I love a physical challenge!

This room is super unique but can definitely be frustrating for some people. I thought it was awesome that instead of puzzles, everything was logical and physical. There was no “secret answers” to things. When they tell you you have to physically figure it out by using what you have, they mean it.

This room is extremelyyy unique and utilizes a very different style than other escape room facilities. At Revoescape, your goal is to escape your room in logical ways, as opposed to solving riddles and puzzles. This room is extremely physically active so it is definitely not made for everyone. If you are able to partake in a physically demanding room I would highly recommend!
