Las leyendas sobre la Alquimia han sido durante siglos uno de los mayores misterios de la historia. Los alquimistas decían poder conseguir la transformación de los metales en oro, aunque su objetivo se centraba en un reto mayor, la obtención de la piedra alquímica. A dicho objeto se le atribuyen propiedades mágicas, entre ellas la inmortalidad. Gracias a las interpretaciones de los últimos escritos de los que se tiene conocimiento, se cree que dicha piedra podría encontrarse en las catacumbas de Minos, en la isla de Creta. Vida eterna y riqueza infinita, objetivos por los que durante décadas muchos aventureros intentaron ir en su búsqueda. Por desgracia, sin éxito alguno……. salir con vida de las catacumbas no es tan fácil. Aunque como ya hemos dicho, todo esto son solamente mitos y leyendas, ¿verdad?

Great atmosphere, set design, and several high quality puzzles. The most challenging thing about the room, however, was the delayed feedback for several puzzles that made it unclear if or how you solved them. We did this room as a group of 5 and I think it scaled quite decently to the larger group, though 2-4 would still be ideal.

The sets were good, and the gimmick that gets you into the Indiana Jones world was very cute. Puzzles were good, but some of the translations needed a little bit of work, which caused an extra unintended layer of puzzling. Overall, quite fun.

Catacombs at Golden Pop is a massive Indiana Jones themed room that has truly immersive sets with some unique features I’ve never seen in a room before. We had fun playing it. Our game master Roger is a legend. He is fun and welcoming. Made us laugh too many times to count. Awesome guy. We played the English version of the game and were a bit disappointed. Many of their signs had poor translations that made it very difficult to understand what our task was. As a result, significant help was needed from the game master where it shouldn’t have been normally.

This is an incredibly immersive room with fun puzzles. We had a great experience! The bar is really high in Barcelona, so this wasn't my favorite room, but we're glad we played!
