Dead Cabin

I love an unusual set, and the opening to this room is really cool! It’s foreboding without being overly intense, which I think makes it great for players who are horror curious but don’t like active scares. The game was super fluid and we loved a lot of the clever takes on environmental cluing. The ending is super fun and while the story could be a bit more prominent I loved the implications from the set and audio logs. Definitely check it out!

Theme was good and present throughout this game. Every space was used wisely. One part you had to crawl so be prepared for that.

It was a dark and stormy night... Thunder rumbles and lightning crashes... A twig snaps and you whirl around to see... well, this is a room where your imagination can easily get the better of you. The set for this room is done to perfection. The woods and cabin are straight out of an 80s slasher movie. I was always expecting someone or something to pop out and swing an axe at my head. The puzzles were all stellar and really forced the three of us to buckle down and work together to come up with the solutions. This was probably my favorite of the rooms we played on our visit and I highly recommend it (especially if you have a really jumpy teammate).

Cool theme. Nothing broken. But way too heavily reliant on locks, which got tiresome.

Great atmosphere, fun room! Creepy but not scary. One person will have to crawl but not everyone has to. We used our phones as flashlights but a headlamp would have made it much easier!

This game was not bad. The puzzles were fun and the set design was good. There is some crawling that one person needs to do. There is also what we’d consider a couple of red herrings. The rooms are dim but flashlights were provided.

We finished this room a bit quicker with six people with no clues. Great room for beginners also. GM was great. Puzzles flowed logically and we enjoyed it.

This was the best room I’ve done yet. Great set design, good story and really fun gameplay
