Mansion Murder

I’ve done several rooms as Escapology now and so far Mansion Murder has been my favorite! I’ve also done their Antidote, 7 Deadly Sins, the Lost City and the Pirates Curse. I feel like the puzzles flowed together the best out of all the rooms and all of them were unique and very fun. While the decor in Pirates Curse was probably the best out of all the rooms, Mansion Murder’s decor made sense with the room, was taken care of fairly well and had some interesting and fun pieces that came into play with several puzzles. The story was straightforward and made sense and you actually learn more of the truth behind the story as you go through the room. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful, with excellent timing for nudges and quick responses when we asked for clues. This location always seems to have a very good staff that really makes sure the experience is the best they can make it, so I don’t think they could have a better staff! I wish they had more rooms at this location because I’m close to running out and have to look at going to their Scottsdale location 😭

Honestly, they told us it was a difficult room and it genuinely only felt difficult because the puzzles felt like they have little to no connection to each other or to the story. We had to ask for so many hints because the storyline and flow of the game was nonexistent.

If you play this room just be prepared for it all to almost make sense but honestly not quite. We needed a good deal of hints along the way to account for this which left us feeling very discouraged! We did not get out :/

This is a very good challenge where you’re encouraged to take a step back from what you’re normally expect in escape rooms and just work with the mystery in front of you. Approach this like a murder mystery and you might get, unlike us! We were looking for zebras instead of working with the horses :)
