The Initiation

A bit older feel to this (soon to be closed) room but still fun with a group. I got to wear a monk robe and feel like Friar Tuck in the Robin Hood cartoon so that's a win to me.

Fairly simple room. Aesthetic is simple older style, but involving a few hidden treasures and puzzle, a la National Treasure style hidden things within other objects. Puzzles are mostly cryptographic in nature with puzzles leading to codes for physical locks but fits the theme appropriately though. Room is fairly linear so there's no getting lost.

Kaylee was a great GM! We requested ask-only for hints and she did a great job of letting us struggle but letting us know if we were running behind, we made it out with about 5 minutes to spare. So much fun!

Had a great time. We did this with 2 people and had a great GM Theresa! We had such a good time we are going to try Hijinx.

This was my first escape room and our family had a wonderful time. Theresa was amazing and I highly recommend all to try. We will be back for sure!

I love this room! But I got to be honest, the vibe, ambiance, and atmosphere was okay. It was top-notch production or even close to Hijinx at Joffree Manor. But I gotta admit, I love the puzzles in this room more than the Joffree Manor one. I think it's because I like the storyline better on this one. I really hope they revamp/rework this escape room because the theme and storyline are great! Just needs more work in terms of set design.

This is a very puzzle heavy room… lots of codes to crack to put into a look to just get to another lock… definitely for bigger groups…

This is their first room, but more gen-one ish than their other rooms. We had a lot of fun! Got into costume and had a blast haha. The puzzles all made sense and were definitely leaning multilinear. It does lack decor, and it’s definitely got that homemade feel, but still a good time! We set the record here too with 29:13 on the clock. The owner here is so nice and we can’t wait to come back for their next room!

This room kicked our asses. Lots of puzzles that really required some agile thinking, much more demanding and different than we've seen elsewhere. We messed up on one particular puzzle and couldn't get past it--totally careless mistake on our part. As others have said, the GM was fantastic, although we can't remember her name! She helped us out when we asked. The second half was a bit unnerving but not so much scary as unsettling. This seems like a really good challenge for experienced players.

My friend and I did The Initiation and had an absolute BLAST!!! Our GM Grace was so awesome and kind, and helped us out exactly when we needed! The puzzles were super satisfying to complete while still providing a challenge and a brain teaser, and when we got stuck it wasn’t because of the room, but because we just lost track of the resources we had already found (haha!) The GM Grace was definitely a highlight of the experience! As soon as my friend and I got to the car we booked the pirate room for tomorrow, just because of the amazing impression the first room left on us!! If you have an hour to spend unraveling secrets and becoming initiates, I highly recommend coming to play the room! The staff was amazing, the room was fun, and it was the best way to spend a Saturday night!! Thank you so much for the fun evening!
