A fun room with some really great theming and set design slightly taken back by the wand mechanics. It’s a great idea and for the most part it works fine, but can be a little fiddly to operate.

One puzzle is a little bit anachronistic and hard work but otherwise the time is good fun and well worth a visit (the train is awesome!)

Accidentally played it twice.
Unfortunately for the second time a puzzle was broken. The GM didnt even care to mention. When we asked about it, she said its not part of the game.

Magic Castle is a good game but some elements are a bit unnecessarily difficult.  There is a sliding puzzle that takes up a bit too much time. It also hurts your fingers. I'm not sure how we opened one of the doors in the train and the 'painting' bit needs to have some hint as to how to start it.
Fun puzzles with the 'rules' section. The wands add a fun element too. All in all a good game but a little frustrating at times

NON SPOILER:
This was a fun room and very cool design, with some fun little Easter eggs/references to HP. Some puzzles were a little tedious but the set design made up for it. Would recommend but not the best one they've done (see my reviews for AI and The Lost Crystal Skull) 

SPOILERS! 
So for some of the issues we had with this room. You find a magic wand at the start which you're told is to interact with the environment which is a cool notion, not going to take that away from them! However, you end up getting a second wand it's it's not clear which wand you should use at which point

There's a slider puzzle on a wall and I feel this puzzle is fun to a degree. We ended up skipping it as it's quite time consuming for a very small piece of a puzzle, and we both jammed out fingers, so something to watch if with kids (or big kids like us..!) 

The last room is so dark and almost a bit too much fluff in the room with some wasted potential. We got out on the skin of our teeth but I feel like we lost time for silly reasons

Still worth a play though!

Another fine room at Mystique. Nothing special. 
The worst thing is that they had remains of puzzles that was not there anymore, which made the game more confusing that it had to be. Some fun puzzles, but in the lower rankings of games in Budapest for us.
