The Rise Of Excalibur

This room was just okay. Nothing pops, pretty old tech, but one puzzle we really did enjoy. You aren’t going to be “wowed” but it’s a very standard and outdated escape room.

None of these props or locks worked. We kept solving the easy puzzles super fast and then unable to complete them by unlocking broken locks. It was so frustrating. I would not recommend this at all.

Took my friend to an escape room for the first time! For first timers, this escape room is an okay experience. If you’re an escape room enthusiast, you will NOT enjoy this room. There is no captivating or immersive intro or story like many other escape rooms, it’s hard to see throughout the entire gameplay, and the puzzles are lackluster. The majority of puzzles are lacking in creativity & fun - just imagine being in a dim light room where half the time, you can’t solve the puzzles because you can’t physically see in the room. Staff member at the front was kind and accommodating! Believe the reviews when you see them!!!

Honestly was the worst room we've ever done. The guy who greeted us wasn't friendly. They apparently have a video about the story for the room that he couldn't find and he said oh well haha. We got in the room and apparently part of the story is finding Excaliber which we found and was open at over 30 minutes in because the room wasn't reset correctly. There were keys we needed to find and he said, oh I didn't reset the room, just look for them. There were clues missing, we spent forever on a super cluttered map that you don't even use half of, we technically finished the game before even getting in the second half of it. We finished the game and he didn't even offer a picture, just said, cool see ya. All in all, a waste of time and money.

Theming was pretty good but some of the puzzles have very little direction. The map will waste a lot of your time since half of the map is irrelevant and there's nothing to indicate this. The map is VERY unnecessarily cluttered too.

The quality of the set design and sound system is not the best, but the puzzles were still fun. The puzzles were pretty straightforward. One puzzle in particular could be time-consuming and/or a nightmare but not impossible. We pretty much guessed on another puzzle even though we knew how to solve it. One of the puzzles didn’t trigger so we had to “reset” something and re-solve it which worked. This room definitely needs a facelift to keep up with the growing industry. For what was experienced, the price was pretty steep.

Not sure what the story was about honestly. We guessed on 2 puzzles and got them correct. It wasn’t the most exciting room, but we beat it and the kids got to pull the sword from its case which was cool

We did this in the P.M. - by that I don't mean at night, I mean: pre-Morty. Our GM was nice enough, but many of the props were beat up. One of the puzzles was damaged but my friend figured it out anyway. Despite all that, I liked it at the time? The atmosphere isn't special but it isn't bad. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone new to escape rooms, and experienced fans will want to stay away until it's renovated.

Felt like the room was falling apart. What should have been goblets for each of the knights, ended up being coasters; either cause they were broken or couldn’t afford some.
