Don't Take A Breath

Truly felt like I was in a video game. Absolutely incredible.

A highlight of our Greece trip. Stood out as an experience like no other. Less of an escape room due to how realistic it felt. Never let up on the suspense!! It continued to build while our team continuously mentioned how much fun this was!!

This was a phenomenal experience! It was a great blend of scary, fun, and theatrics. The game play was fantastic, and allowed you to play through the storyline while interacting with the set. I am so impressed and think this game deserves all of the hype it gets, and then some!

I still tell stories about this escape room to my friends a year later. It was truly immersive, insane horror, and extreme commitment to the bit.

8/10 First it needs to be said, this is not an escape room. This is an experience. This will be discussed before entering the building, so keep this in mind. Now with that being said, there aren’t really puzzles to solve and you will be told what and where to go by a handheld radio the entire time you play. This is the only downside of this room. Don’t Take A Breath strengths lie in its unbelievable production, atmosphere, light programming, sound design, acting, and sheer size of the space. Sometimes this room feels real, that’s how immersed you will be. It’s hard not to love this room. Its ratings and TERPECA rankings are for a reason.

My bf and I arrived to our 2nd game of our Athens’ trip. There were two doors. The correct door was beside a garage door. We were allowed to use the restroom prior to the game, which we appreciated. We were greeted in a comical manner, and then experienced an action-packed story. I ran exceptionally fast during a portion that I predicted I might get captured. Unfortunately and expectedly, I missed a portion of the experience. If you do not want to miss anything, consider not fleeing exceptionally fast. Although we missed a brief interaction, this did not negatively impact our experience. Instead, we appreciate that they were able to accommodate and improvise for us. Even though they were cautious not to chase us when we were on stairs or set up unnecessary obstacles, I accidentally tore my shirt on a door knob while running. They responded empathetically and considerately. :)) We really feel that they were 1,000% passionate about what they do. Since they were having a great time, their enjoyment spilled over to us, the customers. Usually when I have a room that I most look forward to on a trip, it tends to fall lower on my favorites than anticipated. This room is an exception. I most looked forward to this room, and they exceeded my expectations. This is my bf’s and my new favorite game. We hope to return for their future games.

Loved loved this experience. Tense and a little scary, but more adventure and fun then anything. The owner had us cracking up. Set design, sound design, and light design were excellent and the space was a blast to move around.

A classic room! Intense, big, scary, amazing! Must play for anyone who comes to Athens If you know the movie Don't Breathe it will be a feest for your eyes since you will recognize everything.

Ein fantastisches Spiel. Ich habe den Film schon geliebt. Man fühlt sich ganze zwei Stunden lang in diesen zurückversetzt. Es ist beeindruckend, was hier für ein immersives Erlebnis geschaffen wurde. Kulisse + Rätsel und Schauspieleinsatz sind exzellent. Ich habe dieses Spiel bereits zweimal spielen können und würde es jederzeit wieder machen. Eines der besten Spiele in Athen.

I'm conflicted about this one. As an experience it was outstanding, one of the coolest I've had. But I don't think this is an escape room, puzzles are not really solved, instead it's more of a scripted play that you take part in. Not really knowing what I had booked (read on reddit about this place and how it was worth a visit) we where in for a shock. Some adrenalin hours later we stumbled out from the building with huge grins on our faces. After you finish the room you get to sit down with the owner and you talk about the experience and I loved this part, as he is just as big an escape room nerd as the rest of us. He told us how he set out to create something unique that he would like for people to experience and that he has! I have to repeat that I loved my experience here, but I can't really say it's one of the best escape rooms I've played, as I can't consider it as such.
