47 escape rooms

I’ll be leaving a much more detailed review on Google, and I covered a lot of important aspects in the detail section above, so please see those comments. The abbreviated version… as experienced ER players with almost 40 rooms under our belt of many difficultly levels, all over the country, this is the first time I was left wishing I could have an hour of my life back. It’s the first time I’ve played a room that doesn’t match the website description at all. The staff was friendly and the lobby of the place was clean and welcoming, but the positives ended there. The fact that these are 50 minute rooms on a 1 hour schedule helps show that the owners care more about moving as many players through to make money than making the experience great for the guests. Kind of ironic, as almost any location I’ve played I would give a second, third, etc. try as long as more rooms were available. Definitely would not be back here.

Gameplay

The room contained a total of only 4 puzzles. The puzzles were difficult, but for all the wrong reasons.

Atmosphere

There was a mix of well designed set elements and some pieces that were just junky.

Customer service
Particularly interesting or different

No

Story

The story was hard to follow and didn’t even match the theme described on their website.

Difficulty

Hard

Again, the room was difficult, but for all the wrong reasons. The clue “communication” method was amongst the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Game tech

Mechanical

The camp fire was the one cute element, which was more tech.

Ideal number of players

4

This room may be boring with more than 3 or 4 people due to the lack of puzzles and elements of game flow.

Scary

Not scary

Minimum age

16

Was anything broken?

Yes

Only prop items that weren’t critical to gameplay.

Live actors

No

Physically active

Somewhat

Accessibility

Stairs/step ups would make the room difficult for people with mobility impairment.

Easy to find location

Yes

Parking

Medium

It’s within a busy mall… so parking is crowded especially during weekday evening and weekend hours.
