It's up to your group of reporters to uncover the truth and report it to the world! Dr. Gunther Guiles was an accomplished and respected historian, known best for his research on the mysterious unknown. He decides to retreat to his cabin far away from civilization to record the extraordinary discovery from his latest research. Quite some time has passed since his retreat and no one has seen or heard from him in months. It’s as if he vanished without a trace! Rumor has it that many of the doctor’s discoveries revolved around ancient myths and folklore, with some believing his natural curiosity got the better of him. Could he have pressed too far in his quest to solve life’s greatest mysteries? It’s up to your group of reporters to uncover the truth and report it to the world!

This room was not good…pains me to say that. The props were chipped and outdated, the starting point was very vague even for experienced escape room people, and most of the room had permanent marker on it that hadn’t been cleaned and essentially gave us most of the answers. It REALLY needs a deep clean and some updates. On the positive side, our GM was very friendly and we liked the room’s feel.

I actually really like enjoyed this room. The puzzles were not straightforward which I actually liked because it made the room more challenging. I liked the theming of the room. Definitely not super high-tech immersive like some rooms, but also not bare-bones decor.

Room was well themed and looked like a realistic cabin. Downside was all of the scenery was movable and it was very vague where to start on the first puzzle. Guaranteed that even veteran Escape Room fans will need to ask for hints on where to begin. Also, if the magnet board hasn't been fixed yet, you will have to have 2 or 3 people hold them where they need to be placed.

Did not like this room at all. Half the puzzles were already opened, so we shut it ourselves to solve them on our own. We finished in less than half an hour even with resetting things ourselves. It was a mess, cheesy, and just not a great room. Even the set design screamed “Goodwill shopping!” and wasn’t modified to fit the scene. Disappointed.
