Egyptian Exodus

This room is primarily set in one space but utilizes it well, through tactile puzzles and audio/visual elements. The room is wonderfully themed, although expect to leave covered in sand 🤣 Be warned, over-thinkers may struggle by overcomplicating things unnecessarily! We may have fallen into this trap once or twice, but overall we really enjoyed the room. Tom our host was exceptional, and imparted a wealth of historical knowledge as he talked us through how the room worked at the end. 😍

I think probably the weakest puzzle wise at The Escapement but was nonetheless my favourite game there due to first the use of the environment in the puzzles and most of all the unbelievable host who was the most enthusiastic and in-character host I have ever encountered (outside of horror games).

I enjoyed this room despite the tech issues that we had. They managed to create something really simple and effective.

Still really great fun despite being one of escapement’s lower rated rooms. The room theming was excellent as is all of them, I think easily our favourite Egyptian themed room so far!

This was a good laugh and felt like a classic escape room.

Who doesn’t love getting a bit sandy and worshipping the ancient Egyptian gods? Egyptian Exodus was a joy to play. The set design is awesome, there are some really cool set elements and props to interact with, and the concept of the game is very original. I preferred the other games at The Escapement as I didn’t particularly click with the puzzles in Exodus, but I’ve spoken to others who’ve said that this was their favourite game at the venue. The quality of all the games at The Escapement are so high, they’re definitely worth playing!
