Permanently Closed - This is a matter of national security! There is a traitor amongst us! Your mission: locate the traitor and escape, before something unthinkable happens! Your country needs you! A small group of cryptographers have been stationed within Bletchley under orders to uphold National Defence through intercepting and deciphering intelligence. This department became the “Bletchley National Defence Cybersecurity Unit” in 2010. Just recently, one of the cryptographers uncovered a threat to the Government network and was horrified to realise the traitor was in the team! Your commander has narrowed the suspects down to five people, but has now mysteriously disappeared leaving only a trail of clues behind! An awesome Cluedo-esq adventure of deduction and intrigue. The quintessential escape room experience, perfect for veteran players and newcomers too! Can you find the traitor and escape in time?

Another great room from the folks at The Panic Room who never disappoint! Really enjoyed this one, as ever great attention to detail and a high quality build - story flowed well and a good mix of puzzles. A bit of deduction involved which I really enjoyed!

Uncover the traitor is the goal of this room and you need to eliminate all the suspects.  One of the harder rooms at Panic Room, the theming is perfunctory (an office) and it contains a large number of logic style puzzles with a couple of cool style reveals.  I would take at least 3-4 as you may spend a long time on some of the puzzles before coming to a conclusion.  to my mind this is one of the weaker options at the venue, there are much better rooms than this one.

It wasn’t a particularly exciting room, but had some decent puzzles. I was also feeling quite ill during it, so that may factor in to my lack of enthusiasm. Largely takes place in a room looking like a generic office space. Tough for a solo player, as many puzzle paths can be explored simultaneously.

Gameplay

Two parts to gameplay: Identifying the traitor, then stopping their plan

Atmosphere

It was primarily an “office” setting.

Customer service

The GM arrived late to work that day, so the person who kicked things off wasn’t the person running a majority of the game
