Set in the barracks of a P.O.W camp, you and your comrades quickly discover the legend of Bob Hails – the only prisoner to have successfully escaped the camp. And what’s more he’s left you his journal to help you and your team evade the enemy and make your own great escape. But do you have what it takes to earn your freedom? The Adventure Begins is a very fun room and our GM was excellent. This was our 2nd room of the day at Escape Plan and we can’t wait to come back to do the other rooms. We went with our nuclear family, two adults and two young children - all were able to participate in solving puzzles. Thank you for a great time!

An oldie but a goodie! Decent theming and room design coupled with a stack full of Gen-1 puzzles to solve. Room plays nonlinear and was a lot of fun just as a twosome

Prisoner of war scenario with some guard (gamemaster) noises to increase the tension. Some analog puzzles we've never seen. Whole staff was great at this place (Janet, Lydia, Sarah and Sarah) Escape Couple rating: 4 🗝️: Better than average room (we use a 1-6🗝️ rating scale)

A nice set and satisfying puzzles, Escape plan always do nice chunky wooden puzzles with a few surprises, will definitely be back for their new room!

A solid escape room experience. I wouldn't say it would knock your socks off, but everything is very well done: the set is fun to interact with, the theming is quite strong and all the puzzles are good. My host was additionally fluent in German, which really added to atmosphere of having guards constantly trying to catch you in the act of escaping. 🤣

A fun and engaging game from start to finish. Clever puzzles - some of them artfully handmade - and clear story that was engaging and appropriate to the WWII theme. Proves that you can create a great game with good puzzles, an immersive setting and good story - fancy technology wasn’t part of the game and wasn’t needed at all!
