We loved this room! We escaped with 30 seconds left but for a room with a tough success percentage we have to say we felt pretty cool for pulling it off with two people. The design of the room was so cool with some really new and ingenious ways to move about, the way the hint system worked was something we haven’t seen before and it really flowed well with the theming and fun vibes of the room without breaking the immersion. And THE ENDING! So fun so unexpected would’ve loved to see our reactions from the gamemasters side lol. We had a blast and thanks Chris for talking with us a bit after, it’s never our expectation that we get some post play convo but it’s always great and this was no exception. Next time we’re in the area we’ll be sure to check out the other rooms!

This room was absolutely spectacular. It's the first of this type of theme we've seen, so that was cool. The hint system was very unique and fun to use. (Only one other room has made me WANT a hint before this, so kudos there!) A lot of the puzzles were also things we haven't done before, so we were in general very blown away. With 2 of us we barely escaped, we received a couple small nudges along the way, but we felt like we were mostly moving / didn't really ever get super stuck. Highly recommend checking this room out.

Do-able by 2 if you have some experience. If you are newer I would probably try with an extra person or two.

I looked ahead of time and thought I saw a parking lot, but I was wrong. I also didn't realize this location was right in Yale territory, so it was pretty busy in the neighborhood. We did have to circle to find street parking, but it's do-able. I would recommend arriving a few extra minutes early to find parking.

Highly recommended! One of my fav played recently. We met a few new puzzles which is great for a couple with 100+ games. The puzzle design also went super well with the story. There are some sounds puzzles which I personally enjoy a lot, but do pay attention if you have difficulty with hearing.

What a treat! This was my absolute favorite room out of all of them and probably in my top three of the 200+ rooms I've done over the years. The story was unique and spooky and played out as a choose your own ending scenario. A part of me would like to see the other endings play out. The hint system was unique and something I've never seen in a room before. I won't spoil it but it made getting hints part of the story itself. The puzzles were amazing and I can honestly say they were ones I've never come across before. The only puzzle critique was if you're going to do this room make sure you have someone good at recognizing tones. If you're simply matching an electric tone to the same electric tone that's one thing but to match an electric tone to a self generated tone, it doesn't sound the same. Overall, I give the room a 20 out of 10!

One puzzle was acting wonky and we had to jump over it and one lock was completely damaged. The GM came in and fixed and we continued. I think these were more flooks.

One puzzle requires you to sit on the floor or at least bend over for a bit. There are puzzles where you need to stand on a platform.

Great room! first time in a while my team of two failed a room! Some fun (hard puzzles), would definitely say this room is a challenge for two people! A little spooky but not super scary!

I'm writing this review over a year later, but even in the 100+ rooms I've done to date, I still think of this room incredibly fondly. This room truly had an impact on me, and it did so without a live actor which is a feat in itself these days considering how many of the top rooms utilise live actors. I consistently felt engaged with the story, and the incredible voice acting really added gravitas to the situation. Narrative engagement is something I feel like a lot of escape rooms struggle with which can be alleviated with live actors/interactive gamemasters, but for this room to utilise neither and still keep our party invested is a true feat that I haven't come across again yet. The atmosphere and set design were top notch, and there are several visual and audio sound cues that add authenticity to the environment. Even the hint system is extremely well incorporated into the theme. The tech and puzzle density Escape New Haven was able to cram in here is truly impressive. This was definitely a challenging room, but everything made sense. At one point, you are left to make a pivotal decision that will alter the ending of your game. Because I felt invested in the characters, I chose to do a little more work to achieve the desired ending. I really cannot gush about this room enough. It's a shame that this room hasn't gotten much buzz since 2022 on TERPECA, but I'm glad they got their flowers with a Best of Morty 2024. I've been patiently waiting for Escape New Haven's next project and will definitely be making the trek to Connecticut for their next game.

What a fantastic room! One of my top 5, for sure, and I have done over 50 rooms. This is the best room at Escape New Haven. I did this with my family and while I don’t normally like doing rooms with large amount of people, this one comfortably supported all 6 of us. This one has lots of great technology - lights, sound, RFID, you name it! The theme is fun and unique and has so many fun and surprisingly elements. Truly delightful things that made me giggle out loud with joy. I really love this room and wish I could experience is anew again.

Solid room, worth playing if you're in the area. A relatively high level of difficulty and a very strong hint system. Several cool puzzle ideas, so if that's what youre looking for, this room has it. The set design wasn't bad, but was very basic. A very good game but nothing really stood out.
