A Pirate’s Adventure

I love this set! Unpopular opinion, I will never get tired of pirate themed games. I love feeling like I’m living my POTC fantasy 🤩 This room has some cool puzzles, several physical ones that I enjoyed. I think they could have added in MORE puzzles honestly, we felt like there wasn’t enough to do to fill an hour even if we were moving slowly. Sometimes I feel like rooms at The Escape Game have cool set elements that aren’t actually used in the gameplay, which can be disappointing. I’d still recommend this game, but def for a smaller group. We had 3, which was a nice size.

It was a fun and easy escape room. Unfortunately there frequently wasn’t any indication when we did solve a puzzle so our Gm had to let us know. The decorations and atmosphere was pretty good.

This room was so much fun. The amazing quality you expect from the escape game. It was different from all the other themes we’ve experienced from them so far. Can’t wait to see what else they come up with.

This game is weird to me. Maybe it was different when it was Escape Room Live and not The Escape Game, but it was like… really small. Both in terms of square footage and in terms of gameplay. It looks really good, but it’s three really cramped rooms with maybe 2 to 3 puzzles per room. It’s not a big game in the slightest and it’s just a little odd. Still a fun game though.

A fairly good execution of classic escape room themes. A couple of screens were present more than the traditional timer. All of them were deemed to detract from the overall experience by our group. The game was well thought out with a couple genuinely clever puzzles. People familiar with classic escape room tropes should not expect to be surprised here. I’d recommend it, but there are better pirate themed games in the area.

Good room, unfortunately our escape guide didn't reset the room properly and the final "key" to get out was just left out and we accidentally completed the room before we finished all the puzzles. Our guide came in and said that wasn't supposed to happen and let us finish the puzzles, but it still kind of took the wind out of our sails (mandatory pirate pun). Otherwise the room was a great theme and had good puzzles and great immersion.

This is a very fun room. Fun theme. This would be a cool room for kids to do. For adults who have done rooms before... It's a little bit predictable if you know context clues. The puzzles are mostly lock based. The bad thing about this location is the rooms are all in the basement and you can hear other rooms going on because the ceiling is all open.
