Went for my birthday and the game master told us she would not be able to answer clues the first 5 minutes. We arrived and started early. The room is linear and the game master said what the first puzzle was and how we needed to solve it. We tried everything and spent 15 minutes on the first puzzle before finally giving up and asking for a clue because 4 of us couldn't work on anything else. We all had to sit around and try to make 4 numbers. It's a puzzle you either get right away or you don't. The game master ignored us for about 3 minutes when we asked for a clue. Finally when she got to us, eventually she told us we had already gotten the numbers, we just needed to try one of the many locks again. We would have gotten out if not for her negligence and the linear aspect of the room. At 60 minutes she stopped us right at the last puzzle and wouldn't let us finish. We finished earlier than our booking time and we left disappointed and angry. My parents had also played the room already but wanted to bring me to a room I hadn't done for my birthday since I became a game master and wanted to do more. They had to pay again despite playing the room before. Very disappointed and will not be back for the other rooms. One crappy game master can ruin a company. Keep that in mind.

Dracula... sucked (pun intended). Nah, just sub par of Dracula rooms done. Great ideas, just needs polish and upkeep. Decent size, but escape rooms need proper attention and focus as primary. Story and theme was meh, not enough to overlook wires, puzzles sticking and some non leading. Some puzzles just clock runners and busy work. Not alot to do, too linear.

This was a fun room with a great variety of puzzle types.

Somewhat below average room. Fine for someone’s first time, but nothing to write home about. The puzzles were fairly standard, with one physical aspect I didn’t hate, but wasn’t new. The scenic improved as the game progressed, but closer inspection revealed a lack of polish that really hindered perception over all. Lacks polish is a decent sentiment about it as a whole

Overall the room was pretty fun!
Gameplay
The most fun parts about the game play were the see-thru puzzle panels where the goal was to retrieve keys, the ones I liked the least were the puzzle boxes, particularly the brail box and the magnet box. They were unnecessarily hard and wasted more time in the room than anything else.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere in the second room concealed behind a bookcase/door was the better of the two, there was no music in the first room which was meant to be the main office which loaned itself to a poor environment to start the game with.

Our game master was very nice, and helpful when it came to hints.

It didn’t feel like it brought anything new to the party, I feel like using the whole ‘kill Dracula because he’s a vampire’ narrative is beaten to death in this day and age.

The story was alright, I feel like it could’ve been better if it didn’t feature Dracula, they could’ve used the opportunity to create an original character and build a better story around it.

The hardest part of the room- the amount of different locks, and lock boxes. The puzzles also skew on the more difficult side. But overall the tasks of the room are just time consuming, our game master said that it was very linear, but it did not feel like it at all.

Definitely the best room at this particular venue. It makes good use of physical puzzles which makes up for some of the lack of tech. The theming is very fun and a little spooky!
