I’ve done the missing twice now, once with a live actor and once without. Both times it was a fun experience. The actor changed the atmosphere completely but both times were fun! A harder room so some experience would be nice going into the game.

We enjoyed our experience at Amarillo Escape and Mystery playing The Missing. We opted for the live actor which enhanced the overall theme experience of the game, so much so that I chickened out and asked the GM to pull the actor. The puzzles were creative and on point to the theme of the room. GM was helpful when we asked for a clue but otherwise let us enjoy the game which we appreciated.

Room was immersive to the theme. We opted to start the game with the live actow which enhanced the experience until I chickened out.
Great GM who gave good clues when we asked for them, but otherwise let us enjoy the game.

Due to the creepiness of the room I wouldn’t recommend for kids younger than 13, maybe a little older with the live actor.

This room has 2 versions. Version 1 is without a live actor and it is a great escape room. Version 2 however has a live actor option. I can’t tell you how much more of a challenge the actor adds to the room! The sheer distraction factor makes the game so much more difficult! If you want a real challenge, book this room with an actor option!
