Your final mission is to find the door that has “Nosferatu” carved on it and to enter in it. This isn't easy but for sure a fun filling experience to be.

Nosferatu continued Escape the Netherworld's line of great escape rooms with supernatural themes & no sacrifice of good gameplay. Simarly, like the others, there's a good flow and intuitive puzzles. Best of all, all of their games always end with a BIG moment & this was no different. The ONLY reason I would rank this one slightly below Sasquatch & Tiki is because I've done a few other solid vampire rooms that let you end in a similar dynamic way. (I’m sorry if this is vague, but I'm trying to be spoiler-free.) That said, Netherworld still does it the best. The set design is straight-up Victorian age & the subtle background music is CREEPY! Do yourself a favor & if you are in the Atlanta area, come out and spend a day doing all of their rooms. You'll be glad you did.

We were excited to dive into the spooky world of Nosferatu at Escape The Netherworld, but unfortunately, the experience was more terrifying for the amount of locks than for the theme. 🧛‍♂️ The room was dark and spooky looking with a nice set design, not surprising given Netherworld's reputation as a haunted house. The storyline leading into the room was intriguing, and the finish was dramatic and had a great sense of acomplishment. However, as a Gen 1 room, it was filled with locks of all kinds. The non-lock puzzles were time-consuming, making it difficult for us with just two players. Todd spent the bulk of the time trying to solve the larger puzzles while I ran around unlocking a billion locks. A few design choices left us scratching our heads, like the inclusion of an Egyptian sarcophagus in a vampire-themed room. And the subtitle "Van Helsing's Secret" seemed a bit misleading, as there was only a brief mention of the famous vampire hunter. 🧐 The room is recommended for four people or experienced players. Have four players even if you're experienced! Doing this room with only two experienced players was PUNISHING. We only managed to get out on time due to our GM Mark carrying us through some of the ending puzzles. If you're only going to play a few rooms at Escape The Netherworld, I'd suggest keeping Nosferatu locked in his coffin and go play Sasquatch or Tiki Island instead.

Lots of fun and great theme! Honestly not enough puzzles for 7 people. Probably more for a group of 4. But still very challenging and very fun!

I typically want to do rooms as a team of two, but the sheer volume of puzzles in this room is better for 3 or 4. We did escape but it was a close thing. The puzzles are 1st generation with a ton of padlocks but the aesthetic is great and it’s a lot of fun. Worth playing but if you can only do 1 here, I would choose Bigfoot or Aliens over this one.

Just too many keys....not enough variety in puzzle types..I would play any other room at the company before this one. They are much better.

Really great ending! Love the incorporation of a lose-factor - first room I’ve seen with one in almost 150. Staff was friendly. There are a LOT of keys to keep up with, and a good chunk of the room consisted of keys unlocking more keys or boxes containing more boxes, creating an unnecessary feeling of overwhelm. The lighting is super dark. Overall a good experience.
