Nice story. Nice atmosphere, eerie specially inside the 2nd room. Definitely some unique puzzles that I’ve only seen in this game so far but puzzles are a little easy to figure out. Still love this room tho

The little ways that our game masters made this room fun for us with the creepy serial killer theme are top notch! I won’t spoil it but the personalization made this experience a memorable one. The puzzles themselves were of medium difficulty. A couple had us think for a little bit but the clues were right in front of us. The darkness does and will pose as a challenge when it comes to looking for certain clues. Our team of seven had slight trouble getting started in the first room but once we were able to figure that out, the rest of the puzzles flowed smoothly. There were jump scares and laughing! A great room to do at night to get the adrenaline running with friends

I found the creepy serial killer theme interesting, but the darkness, while obviously part of the room’s name, gave us trouble as usual. As soon as the GM, who was awesome by the way, helped us with the 1st puzzle that requires finding something in near pitch blackness, we basically steamrolled through the rest of the room. The room wasn’t completely reset when we came in, as in the door to the 2nd room was completely open, and we were exploring the room for a few minutes before they came in and said we weren’t supposed to be in there. They did reset the time, but oops! My favorite part was a special personalized interaction with the serial killer. Hello killer!

This is the first time doing an escape room with this group and I think this was a perfect room for us to get our bearings. It was a little easier than I was expecting, but it still had a really great atmosphere and a lot of the puzzles were creepy cool!

This was our very first escape room. We finished with seconds to spare which speaks to the relative ease of the room but it was definitely a lot of fun and very spooky.

I rate this room a 3/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). The set matched the spooky serial killer theme perfectly. There were a couple fun surprises provided by our sneaky GM and a cool tech adventure. The puzzles were easy to medium in difficulty and nothing we hadn't seen before. I enjoyed the room well enough, therefore, would consider this an average escape room.

After reading other reviews, I was afraid to do this room knowing I hate horror movies and I’m terrified of the dark. Once in the room, and I got through the initial scare, I was a focused on the puzzles, I wasn’t bothered by the dim lighting and creepiness of the room. I really enjoyed the movement between rooms and appreciated the critical thinking required to solve the puzzles and open locks.
Great flow between puzzles. Most puzzles make sense. There are some puzzles that require you to use “tools” in the room aren’t obvious that you would need to use them.
This room is CREEPY! I scare very easily and was ready to be terrified but was very glad that this room was more creepy than scary.

Attention to detail made this room very interesting. At one point, you need to interact with your “captor” which is something I’ve never experienced before in an escape room.

Wow!! What a fun experience. This was my groups third room escape room from Mission escape and they do not disappoint! AJ is a rockstar of GM. The experience was immersion in the best way. Definitely upping the spook factor in this room. The ambience was top notch. The puzzles fit the theme and were the perfect difficulty level!! I am excited to tackle on more room with them!
The flow of the rooms was great and made sense to the storyline.

The set design was great! It really makes one feel that they're in a rundown, dirty house owned by serial killer who perhaps struggle with mommy issues. The downside was that the room was quite dim which made looking for puzzles and solving clues quite a feat. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was part of large group of people so we all just divided and conquered. There was also a bit of theatrics at the end involving the GM, which was very fun and unexpected. 😅

Loved this room! I had a bit of a mishap and thought the room was at 4:30 and I live two hours away so we showed up at 4:30 only to realize our room was at 4 and we were marked as a no show :( (completely our fault) They allowed us to play but only until the next group got there so we only had about 35 mins to play. We were so grateful they let us play even with half the time! Extremely kind GM I wish I got his name but we escaped nonetheless and is one of the fav rooms I’ve done! But that being said double check your reservations yall and be early!
Non linear and a fun mix of locks (all different types) and other tech elements.
I am a huge chicken so I was very scared but just simply because of the darkness and good spooky ambience. Chickens don’t let the scary listing make you not do this room it’s worth it!
We had a booking mishap as explained in my review but the staff was soooo nice about it!

I think for experienced players this room should be no problem! But not too easy that it wasn’t fun. We had a great time and the puzzles are pretty straight forward with only one puzzle proving to be difficult for us but after a hint made perfect sense.
