This was a very cute game with fun puzzles. This was my 20th game (15W-5L) so I still consider myself a novice. I played with two other adults with similar statistics and we agree that it was a medium difficulty game. Our GM (Maddy) was very sweet and only gave us a nudge to redirect us when we almost accidentally solved the final puzzle too early - lol. This is a great family game especially for kids. We're looking forward to playing more games with Clever Fox.

Gameplay

The Christmas theme was very cute. The puzzle with the bottles was novel for us and one of my two favorites in this room. The candy cane puzzle was my other fav.

Atmosphere

The set was beautiful and everything was in tip-top condition. A little more light would be nice.

Customer service

Maddy was very sweet and told us a lot about their other rooms so that we know which one is best to tackle next, based on our novice ability.

I enjoyed this game. One of my teammates came in a Santa dress to get in a holiday escape mood.

This was my 20th game (15W-5L) so I still consider myself a novice. I played with two other adults with similar statistics and we agree that it was a medium difficulty game. The game was mostly non-linear so everyone in our group had a task to work on.

There were a few tech-y puzzles, but most were mechanical (which we prefer).

Two to three adults can play this easily. Any more adults would be too many. Lots of kids would be fun.

A couple of the combination locks were finicky and need to be exactly lined up or jiggled a little - but that is easy enough to figure out.

The mall is easy to find but Clever Fox is tucked way back on the left in a courtyard. They are between Kohl's and Famous Footwear, closer to the FF side.

100 escape rooms

This escape room had a lot of puzzles and was designed well. It just was pretty simple for experienced escape room goers. Our group of 4 got out in 22 minutes. Afterwards they told us it was designed for kids, which made sense. It was fun to do a holiday themed room, however, no room feels worth it for the price when you get out in 22 minutes, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are very inexperienced with escape rooms or it is just kids doing it.

Color blindness could present a problem for some of the puzzles. One of the puzzles did require hearing.

Fun holiday escape room! Not too hard but not too easy either. Great for smaller groups and have clever puzzles to solve. We really enjoyed with our group of 3.

Fun holiday experience. Had a variety of puzzle styles that kept us on our toes. Our group of 3 had a great time working our way through the elements. I would consider this a good room to do with elementary aged children to introduce them to escape rooms- or family members who are hesitant to do escape rooms.

I would definitely say keeping it to a group of 5 or less would be ideal. The space would be cramped with many more than that.

The true meaning of Christmas in July. This room delivers on true holiday spirit and joy in a way that you aren’t really expecting, considering it was just a pop up. Going into it in May I didn’t realize how much fun we would have. Even blowing through the puzzles as quickly as we had, I would highly recommend it as an experience to add under your belt.
