For a small Wyoming town, this is surprisingly a good experience. Maybe not for the seasoned escape room players, but for pure entertainment, I would happily recommend this for kids and visitors alike.

Gameplay

Fun involvement of typically underutilized senses and body levels. I hadn’t seen a couple of the puzzle types before, so I am genuinely surprised at the innovation of this room. That said, the mechanics were a little rough and confusing, and some of the drawers did, in fact, need more handling than the “two finger pressure.”

Atmosphere

Overhead fluorescents, no music, silly Halloween decorations, and plywood walls.

Customer service

Very kind.

No

It was a neat concept, but meh execution.

Story
Difficulty

Easy

We did this with our novice aunts and they had a good time doing the puzzles. We did need help, but more so because we were overthinking.

Ideal number of players

Super small for four adults. I’d say two adults and two kids should be the maximum.

Scary

Spooky

The final room was pretty dark and creepy which honestly made the experience. Though the props and decorations can be bought in a Walmart, they are pretty creepy looking and could spook a child. But there are no actors, no visual jump-scares (one loud noise but nothing too frightening), and creepy theming. Kids could definitely escape and not have any nightmares.

The last room requires crawling.

This would be hard if not impossible for mobile disabilities. There are also audio clues and reading involved.

This game is in a small family entertainment center. It may be okay for kids and families, but if you’ve played a few good commercial escape rooms and enjoyed them I would pass on this one.
