We just really enjoy the layout of the games at Hourglass Escape Rooms in both Searcy, AR and Russellville, AR. There are lots of interesting puzzles and the games are linear, making them excellent for beginners. Finding Bigfoot was a fun adventure. The room had some basic but fun puzzles. We would place the clues on the easier side but still challenging. The game flowed well using Hourglass Escape Room's system of labeling puzzles sequentially, following the linear design of the room. Some players may not like this, but it does provide and idea of what you're supposed to take away from the puzzle currently being solved. Everything supported the idea that we're searching for Bigfoot.
Using the sequential labelling of puzzles following the linear design of the room, the game flowed very well. The puzzle were fun to solve. They were clear and not too difficult making this a good beginner room.
The staff was excellent. The introduction to the game was clear and concise.

We'd played something similar in Branson, MO with a little better set design, but this was still very well done.
Easy
Puzzles were easy to medium and with the linear flow it is a good room for beginners, with a fun theme.
Mechanical
Mostly mechanical with a little bit of added tech.
3
We played with 3. There is space in most of the room for more, but one portion wouldn't allow much more than 3. Based on the linear nature and sequential locks, adding more people would have resulted in a lot of standing around for some.

Definitely fun for younger players with the Bigfoot theme.
Yes
There was an item that was described to us in the introduction. When we went to use it, whether by itself or through user-error, it did not operate. However, the GM quickly responded when we used their system of ringing a doorbell by the room entrance. There was almost no interruption in the overall flow of the game.

One part of the room would have limited mobility, but the majority had plenty of space, and is wide open. Lighting was good.

The best atmosphere of an hourglass room by far. And lots of fun lore throughout. Honestly this room shows just how lacking many of the others are. Puzzles were pretty simple throughout but still fun to solve. Kids will love this room!
