248 escape rooms
Rating: 3/5 - Enjoyable with a good variety of puzzles Things I liked: ➕Nice mix of tech and padlocks ➕The puzzle variety means there is something for everyone. Logic, physical, numbers, visual, cypher, etc. ➕All the puzzles were fair and made sense, no outside knowledge or other issues ➕/➖ Theming is decent with a lot of real serial killer news paper clippings and photos (no blood or gore). While some areas of the set looked nice, other areas felt a bit sparse. There is always opportunity to add more detail and character to the space, make it feel more lived-in. ➕Some non-linearity so players can split up ➕More than a single room to explore ➕One puzzle requires teamwork/communication ➕The owner/GM is clearly an enthusiast and great to talk to, he was helpful when needed. I appreciate that they allowed me to play solo with a public booking, I was able to escape with a few hints/nudges. The owner made a small modification so that I could complete the communication puzzle without help. I'd recommend a team of 2-3 enthusiasts. My ranking of the rooms I've played here starting with my favorite: 1. Queen Anne's Revenge 2. Legion 3. Release the Hounds
