Escape From Tiki Island

Theming of the room was awesome! A more mechanical game, which we enjoy. Our game master was super nice and made the experience even more fun!

I am a big fan of Urban Escape Games. Their in-house design and set construction is really good. Unfortunately, they bought this game, and it shows. The most high-tech thing on the set is a basic color-matching puzzle that takes about five seconds to solve. There is an interactive map that supposedly shows how close you are to escaping the island but we got out while it still showed us about 2/3 of the way along the path (and we had a ton of time left). One puzzle just involves counting gemstones embedded in the set of various shapes and colors under poor lighting conditions. That isn’t a puzzle, it is an activity. Overall I just cannot recommend this room.

This was a lot of fun and the theme and set design was great. Really immersive and full of surprises.

Solid room. Looked pretty good. Had some fun puzzles. Nothing too remarkable, just good quality and fun.
