This game is a pretty good time! This definitely has the feel of an older game, with a worn down set that was broken in a few places, but the gameplay flowed well, there was a surprise spectacle factor, and the puzzles, while for the most part simple, were pretty fun! We had one frustrating moment when puzzle tech wasn’t working as intended just due to being worn down and a little broken, which wasted a little time, but honestly we aren’t the type of team that cares about that. The GM for this game was incredible. I can’t recall his name but he was so much fun and made the experience more ~magical~

Decent game - set and puzzles were a mix of things I liked and things I thought could be improved, but nothing was terribly broken. Pros: The ending sequence felt large and epic. The set design did a good job conveying the concepts they attempted to. Cons: I wish the set was brighter in some places, and in some places it could have been more robust or hid the underlying construction for better immersion. Some of the puzzles could have been clued better IMHO.
Unusually big ending sequence

A very fun room with great sets, smells, and immersive elements! In comparison to other wizard themed rooms, nothing is reliant on Harry Potter or lord of the rings references, but rather a new tale on old Merlin folklore. Very refreshing to see a magic themed room not try to be non copyrighted Harry Potter. The interactive puzzles are very fun, almost no locks throughout the whole experience! Some puzzles were a little hard to grasp at first, for a linear room that can pose a progression issue but one that makes the rest of the puzzle solving feel more worthwhile. One downside is there is only one screen throughout the whole room, with a colorful background, making it hard to see the clues written on the screen that Merlin does not read aloud, and very hard to see since there is no alert tone for written clues. A plain black background would fix this issue, and our game guide commented how the screen would be only in this spot fixing any issues of not seeing a screen later on in the adventure. Overall very fun for all ages with some amazing sets and puzzles!

60 To Escape sets a high bar and this room is no exception. I brought a first time player, someone who has done 3 rooms prior, and myself (200+ rooms) and everyone found it to be extremely engaging with plenty of surprises. The scenic quality is top notch. I especially loved all the lighting cues during the narrative portions of the experience, most notably during the opening exposition. The puzzle flow was mostly smooth and intuitive, though there is one extremely long and tedious puzzle that brought the game to a grinding halt and far outstayed it's welcome. It also delivers a fantastic finale, something so many rooms fail at.
Our GM was fantastic! Enthusiastic before and after games and was extremely attentive during gameplay providing nudges when needed and quickly responding to requests for hints.

Not a single combo lock to be found in sight.

Any more than four would be too many in my opinion. A group of two seasoned enthusiasts should have no problem.

Several puzzles involved color. And one puzzle would not be accessible for anyone in a wheelchair.

It is easy if you've read their instructions, but if you just show up having thrown an address in Google Maps it may be hard. It's in a mall, just park at the Food Court entrance and you'll find the location above the food court. Go up the escalator where the food court lets out into the rest of the mall.

It's a mall with abundance free parking.

The theming and immersion were fantastic, as I've come to expect from 60 To Escape. We had a good time, but there were a few puzzles that needed hints, and I don't think we would have come to the realizations ourselves. One that had a very difficult to find item. It was also very linear, meaning when we got to those standstills, the whole group was stopped. I would recommend for sure, but not my favorite room from this location.

set dressing and atmosphere was very fun and interesting, the flow was very linear and the ending felt like it came up pretty quick but overall a very fun and magical feeling room.
gameplay was fun and pretty well varied. The flow was good, starting linearly then opening up a bit before funneling back to the final area. Provided a good mix of team work and independent exploration.
Set design and props were very immersive and in decent condition, not run down or broken. There are a couple of features in the room that were not used despite having clear interactions which was a bit disappointing and confusing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. My partner and I recieved a few unprompted hints while actively trying to solve puzzles that were not really needed and made us feel a bit ushered through the room. The requested hints were helpful and informative for the active task though so that was nice.

there are a couple puzzles that require some strength to operate and lock in, but nothing too crazy
