Casino Heist

Our group had fun and we really liked the GM. But that’s where the positives end. I’ve been one other time to this location and I think there is potential but they consistently fall short. This room had decent puzzles and I enjoyed the theme but the puzzles are too finicky to really enjoy. I wish they’d work on making sure the puzzles actually worked. One example is a door drops open and there is supposed to be a key somewhere in there that our group didn’t find the first time. The GM had to tell us to go back and look. Would a hook that holds the key be too much to ask for?

I’ll start with the one positive: our GM Luca was super nice! But sadly, Escape Room Zone (at least this location and Farmington) is absolute garbage. This room worked more than I expected it to, but it’s sad “mostly works” is the best this place can do. Things didn’t flow well, magnetic pieces were super finicky, a key didn’t come out that was supposed to, one thing was broken, some directions were unclear, and one puzzle had a final step no one would guess without a clue. All this takes away from the experience and wastes so much time trying to figure out if you’re doing something wrong or if the thing just doesn’t work right. More frustrating than fun so not worth the money.

I had fun, but this location and all of their rooms are complete garbage. Our GM was nice, that was the only redeeming quality about this location. Even the bathroom was broken. It’s giving will be out of business in the next 2-3 years.

Poor flow of the rooms between each other. Puzzles were finnicky and very sensitive to open, we had to ask our GM how to finish one and we never would’ve guessed that’s how it was completed. The atmosphere was cool and I liked the theme but the puzzles were just not as easy to operate as they should’ve been.

Puzzles were finicky and mechanisms needed stronger springs to open doors when triggered. Game Masters do not watch and you have to update them where you are in the room when you ask for a clue. Timer doesn't stop when you escape, so hard to get an actual escape time.

One puzzle was difficult only time we needed a clue and did not get appropriate help when asked. A bit disappointing that we lost on one puzzle and when asked for clue was not given good help. Otherwise it was good. Nice aesthetics

It was alright, but there were several broken components and we somehow finished without opening everything/doing all the puzzles. Cool concepts but definitely needs some TLC.

The room looked cool, but we had issues with several parts of the game that needed to be re-set or didn’t work. Our game master couldn’t get one puzzle to work either. There was a long delay after asking for a clue and game master didn’t know where we were in the game. Some cool puzzles like the slot machine, but others need more work.

this room felt like you were in an old timey casino, cool games with lights and the ambiance matched well. puzzles were relatively straightforward and overall a fun experience.
