Permanently Closed - From 1785-1810, Pirate captain Samuel Blackshear patrolled the waters off Martha’s Vineyard harassing whaling ships. He became the richest man in Edgartown taking gold coins from the whaling ship captains. Captain Blackshear kept his loot in his secret office right here beneath the Beach Boutique. But he constructed a series of puzzles that needed to be solved to find his secret loot. Can you find it? Each member of your group gets a prize from selected items in our gift shop. Our recommendation: This is the easier of the 2 rooms. It is family-friendly. The majority of groups have been able to solve the room without hints within the 45 minute time frame.

The room was really small even for 2 people. Could barely hear the hints & the hint master was working 2 games at once. At one point another group walked in our room from a side door. One puzzle is in a closet u need to shut the door & what u need to see is barely visible. Overall 4/10
