The Pirate Adventure: Chapter III

I expected to like this room from the Secret Chambers location the least (since my group planned do all three in one day) but I ended up loving this one at the same level as Poe but for different reasons. The puzzles were not as clever or challenging as Poe but our game master had so much fun with us that this in itself was an experience. Our game master was Benji and he shared with us that we were his final group on his final day. Thank you Benji for hosting us and in such character too: We had a group of three and we had plenty of time to spare but a group of four would be ideal! Shout out to Kashes for moving us right along and setting everything up!

I have played a dozen or so pirate themed rooms. This one was one of them. The best part was easily our host. We played this room because we loved the Poe room at the same location so much. There's lots to like here but it is fairly easy. I think this room is an afterthought to folks who play "Poe" and want to try another game and chose the pirate theme over the sci-fi theme. Some of the elements were dated and the showpiece of the room was even falling apart. I don't want to give a dislike with respect to our room host who was awesome, but this was just a major drop-off from Poe. It was meh, but we still had fun.

It's okkkk but the actor helped too much. He didn't give us a chance to work on it before just feeding us the answer (vs giving hints).

Loved the room, but 1 thing I'd say is the person in the room with us that is the character was a little too talkative and helpful. She didn't give us a chance to solve things before giving us clues. Wish she would have waited for us to ask before helping. We like to be challenged.

Alot of fun great for medium sized group definitely will come back
