This escape room feels more like a detective game, similar to the monthly Hunt A Killer boxes. If you're not into reading and solving mysteries, you might want to pass on this one.
We enjoyed the detective elements, but one of the rooms is light in all red lighting, which made me see spots—I’m prone to migraines, so that was a bit of a challenge.
I wouldn’t recommend this escape room for young kids since it involves a lot of reading. Also, if you have trouble with small print, this might not be the best option for you.
While the room isn’t traditionally scary, there are a few moments with sudden noises that made me jump and scream, but I’m easily startled, so take that with a grain of salt.
Overall, I had a good time. It was a fun experience, though I wasn’t completely in love with the room.
Hard in terms of lots of reading, would recommend at least three people.
