The Last Wish - Forbidden Tour

This is a legitimately challenging room. We played on the Forbidden difficulty which adds an extra puzzle at the end and were unable to complete it in time. The set design is excellent as to be expected from this company, and the unique setting and theme really feel immersive once you step into the room. There are some cool puzzle designs, but unfortunately they are a bit finnicky. We solved a few of them correctly initially and did not trigger the effect, and then while trying to correct them, even though the solution was incorrect, the result would trigger. There were also a few times in this room where we solved something but could not figure out what it triggered/opened. This led to my main criticism of the room: it was not always clear what we were supposed to be working on. Most of our clues were used to just figure out what to do next. The puzzles did not flow together as well as they could have which is a shame because they were actually fun and challenging and the room was designed very well.

Great set design. Lots of puzzles to solve. A lot of time is spent on verifying your answers because puzzles weren’t responding/triggering. Multiple logic puzzles required heavy reading. Even experienced teams will have a hard time finishing the Forbidden Tour due to not knowing what certain props control.

Really well-designed room. Very polished, immersive, and interactive with some great puzzles. There’s a harder version of the game that we chose to do and didn’t escape. The last few puzzle are a doozy. But it’s still one of my all time favorite escape room experiences.

This was a room with no combination locks or keys. Logic puzzles. It was so creative and decorations were great! Many rooms and places that opened for new surprises! Highly recommend.
