Great place. We would love to try their other rooms considering how amazing the builds are. A few things could flow better and a white board would be useful. The clues appear over decorative backgrounds making them hard to read. And one puzzle solution doesn't naturally lead to ease in taking the next step (I don't want to spoil which one but it's early in the game). People are doing ax throwing right outside the room so sometimes a "thunk" you think is a clue solution is just an ax throw---hahahaha.

Gameplay

Lots of fun and very thematic clues and play. Flow is largely good but there are a couple puzzles where the next step isn't connected in a way that feels like a natural flow towards a solution. And there's a component where solving it doesn't actually help once you are ready to complete the task. They also really need to provide a dry erase or boogie board.

Atmosphere

Incredible set design. The room is gorgeous and well built.

Solid pirate ship themed room! A little too dark but since we were allowed to use phone flashlights, it ended up being fine. Don’t necessarily expect a bunch of wow moments, but do come in expecting a good time and a tricky hunt for pirate booty. I enjoyed uncovering all the secrets. Overall, puzzles were good, not too difficult but had enough depth. And dive deep we did to find Aria the mermaid, splish splash!

Was anything broken?

No

Not broken, but apparently, it’s possible to just lose laminated sheets of paper in a hole, and it’s impossible to grab it again. So be careful!

4 escape rooms

We were ushered in by our GM gave us the basic info, and informed us what we could and could not touch. The "entry room" was already interesting. There was enough to search for due to the nature of the room. Not a linear puzzle like a few places we encountered. We encountered many variations of puzzles and We did not really experience any repeat type of puzzle. The lighting was low. But that did not affect any of the puzzles we were trying to solve.

Gameplay

Puzzles varied and kept us on our toes.

Atmosphere

The room was designed well and gave a very immersive feel.

Customer service

The staff was very attentive.

A bit of an original concept.

Our group consisted in seasoned escape room players.

Game tech

Mechanical

A little bit of both, but it was slightly more to the physical side.

Ideal number of players

6

4-6 players is perfect. Don't let first impressions throw you off.

Scary

Spooky

I'm only going to say spooky due to the ambiance of the room and the slight feel it gave off. But nothing to worry about jump scares.

Minimum age

12

Areas were very hands-on and some searching of areas below four feet.

Was anything broken?

Yes

I may have misaligned one of the physical puzzles. The owner noticed I had some difficulty and that should have not been the case.

Live actors

Physically active

Somewhat

There were only a few physically challenging props to some of the solutions.

Accessibility

The enterway was a bit tight. so I would not expect a wheelchair to fit.

Easy to find location

Yes

The storefront is easily identified.

Parking

Medium

It's street parking in a small downtown small city area.
