Our team wasn't on our game on this one and we just missed escaping (literally a few pumps away (IYKYK)). The puzzles were great and the room decor was very well done. We hadn't been to Wake Escapes since before the pandemic, so it was good to be back to the place we did our first. The GM did a great job with hints and tried to keep our team from imploding. I agree with the statement about just a few too many old style combination locks. I personally always have trouble with those (old High School locker PTSD), but they fit the theme. Overall a really solid room and I would definitely recommend it.
Gameplay
Some good puzzles, none overly difficult. or non-intuitive we just were really off our game and stepping on each other's feet.

They did a really good job constructing this.

Not to say it wasn't solid, but there wasn't anything really out there.
Story
Story was solid, the pirate bit was fun.

I feel like since we didn't make it out I should put difficult, but now that we have escaped several, I can definitely say it wasn't the room that was hard, our team was just making stupid mistakes.
