No Humbugs Allowed! Welcome to the 18th Century, London, England. Night has fallen over London on Christmas Eve, Ebenezar has just arrived home after making sure his assistant, Bob Cratchit, puts in his extra hours to make up for taking off Christmas Day. Scrooge lays back in bed, thinking happily on all the years money he’s scrimped and saved in the strongbox at the office. As always, Conundrum has top-tier game design and decor. This one is absolutely worth doing even if it's not the holiday season, especially with kids! There's tons of physical artifacts and clues to find, so it's great for younger players (our four year old loves this one). Conundrum game masters are always fun and encouraging, and very welcoming of our kiddo!

Cute room. We had 5 players and there was enough to keep everyone busy. Some pretty classic escape room puzzles. We were stumped a few times but figured it out on our own because the puzzle ultimately made sense. Definitely recommend if you’re with a group of folks who have done rooms before. May not be a good starter room because it could be too frustrating for newbies.

This was a fun holiday escape room, though it could be played any time of year. Gameplay felt linear, though multiple puzzles/clues in each room could be figured out at once. We did have a problem with a broken puzzle at the very end of the game, but the GM saw this and immediately came in to remedy the problem (playing it up in character - and appropriately stopping the countdown clock til resolved) so we could move forward with the escape.
Flowed well, needed minimal clues, if any. Linear gameplay.
Vibe and set design was immersive, host was entertaining.
We've always felt welcomed at both Conundrum Escape room locations. Host was great.

One puzzle in second room was not working even though we properly handled it. GM saw this, came in (in character to the theme) resolved the problem and swiftly left us to continue.

Not really, but the GM's at Conundrum usually get into the act of a host tied into the theme when introducing the game and the rules before starting.

This room was amazing, especially for a holiday themed room, which are usually pretty cheaply made, best holiday escape room I’ve ever done. Thanks to our ghost host J for the room

The clues were not clear. We've done great in the past but this one was confusing.

The room was quite challenging but in a fun way. When I felt lost, it was because we had missed something. There's some really interesting puzzles that I haven't seen before that totally fit the Christmas spirit. I'd highly recommend going in with minimum of 3-4 people because there is a lot to do.

I'll admit I'm sort of a Grinch when it comes to holiday themed rooms. Many of times, the theme is the same. Help Santa save Christmas! This room was not at all shoving Christmas themed puzzles down your throat and I loved how the rooms felt so cozy and nice to be in. Very interactive puzzles and one that was AMAZING when it came to the box with chains. Let's just say you'll need those chains to lead the way to a word. We had 6 people and that felt just right. A easier room for veterans and great introduction room or beginners.
