The Sorcerer's Curse

The puzzles in this room were a different type of challenge than a more code-and-lock style room, which is a bit different than what we’re used to. I felt like we struggled quite a bit and it was frustrating at times. Some puzzles didn’t “trigger” like they were supposed to and the game master had to ask if we did something or not and manually trigger the next part. It was also quite dark at times. I get that they want ambiance but I still want to see. I will still check out other rooms at Mystery soup, though, because I really liked the bunker one.

This escape room deserves high praise for the set design and atmosphere, as well as the presentation of the puzzles. Our team of 4 was impressed with the experience itself and how the room unfolded. It did not go unnoticed that a world of sorcery would not use Master locks and the number of puzzled solved with magic was really fun. While I can imagine a few of the puzzles could give groups quite the challenge, we brought our A-game today and escaped quickly - our first room without a hint!

Great take on a wizard room! Set design was great and there was some fun tech. We never felt like we had no idea what to do next and info in room can keep you moving along if you remember it is there (we needed to be reminded a couple of times!)

the puzzles were really neat and well done, but we got out pretty quickly just because our group has done a lot of escape rooms. the rooms and effects were also really unique and interesting, it was a really fun room overall

The room is very well made. The moment you walk in it's game time. I have done a good amount of escape rooms and most puzzles are similar but also different. Some of the puzzles in this room are out of the box. That's what makes certain rooms special. The fact you can't autopilot through and this had just that! My wife also loved the hidden duck, which they hid inside the puzzle. Thanks for an amazing valentines day!

This was my first room at this location and it was such an awesome experience. The environment is so cool. The puzzles were fun and our group had a great time!

The room was fun but too dark for me. Also there was a part that would have been easier with more than 2 people but we figured it out and ultimately solved the room. There were a few puzzle that didn’t work the first time we got it right due to not waiting long enough or other weird glitches but overall a solid room.

Entering this room, I knew we were in for sometime special. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone but if you're a fan of CS Lewis, you'll get a kick out entering. The opening sections were visually stunning. We stumbled a bit in the beginning but quickly made up some ground. The puzzles in the room were more along the lines of logic puzzles. I loved this aspect. The were challenging and all had great payoffs. Lots of great surprises and technical effects. This was a great room!
