The themeing was good on this room but we didn't feel like all the puzzles were intuitive and parts of the game were frustrating simply because of lighting and a lack of anything to write stuff down on. Lockbuster has been completely hit or miss for me and my group. We have very much enjoyed two of the rooms we have completed but were absolutely frustrated with the other two.

Gm was just ok. We asked for nudges and he acted like we were asking for more clues then the three they offer for free. We told him if he offered and we accepted it could count towards our three clues. Willing to play by the rules but the approach by Lockbuster GM's has been rude at times.

Would be a great first room or a kids room. Not scary, a bit spooky (skeletons) and dark but it’s so well themed that it’s not a problem. Gamemaster was perfect, and it helped that we had visited lockbusters before knowing their quality and tricks. Magnetic release > number locks which aided the immersion and theme. Can’t say enough positive about the room.

I wanted to like this room, but it was just too short. This is an older room but that in and of itself isn’t the problem. The problem is that there are not enough puzzles in total and most of them are very easy. (There were two puzzles that I liked quite a lot, but the rest ranged from “fine” to “meh” and the whole thing was just over too quickly.) Lockbusters does great sets compared to many other escape room companies, but this one is not particularly interesting. It does have a satisfying finale moment, though. Overall I just can’t recommend this room, but I would recommend other rooms at Lockbusters (see my other reviews).
Gameplay
There just aren’t enough puzzles. We finished in 25 minutes and that felt leisurely. I am not one of those who feels like I need 59 minutes and 59 seconds worth of stuff to do if I paid for an hour, but this one is just too short. What’s interesting is that there are quite a few distinct spaces that you go through, so the problem is not that the room lacks space. It’s just that most of these areas only have 1-2 things to do.

The set design is high quality but compared to the other rooms we played at this venue it was the least interesting. It’s still good, certainly above average by general escape room standards, but not great.

The room just doesn’t have all that much to do. Playing with more than 1-2 people means you don’t even get to do all of what little there is to do.

Nothing is broken, but this game shows its age, and there are a lot of places where you can see that something used to be there. One major set piece secret door is just permanently open because (according to our GM) it just broke too much.

Fun and fantastic game! Everything ran so smoothly for our game with spectacular decor and an immersive experience. Staff was exceptional! Definitely recommend!

For our second round in the two-game run, once again we had a solid time! Set in this games was very nice but in some areas felt a little bit in the lower quality side of things. Although the change of scenery from space to space was fun to experience. The only thing we had troubles with was understanding the flow of the story and small final puzzle toward the end of the game. Other than that we had another good time here and look forward to wrapping up with Bank Heist soon!
