All and all nicely themed good looking room, a bit of a lock-heavy room but missing flow and feedback for what you are doing at points feeling super lost like some information was missing but it never was found. I'd love to say it was because the room didn't mesh with me but the whole party felt the same.
This room had some notes that didn’t always make the flow feel great because the note was overly cryptic and didn't let you know what to work on next. However, many of the puzzles were inventive, requiring you to use everything in the room.
Pleasant atmosphere without having a lot of extra props and great utilization of those props. The only downside, in my opinion, was it didn't have music in the room it had an excellent background track but needed something that kept the pace. Overall this room was missing a lot of feedback for audio.
They may have been understaffed; we only interacted quickly with the staff, and all seemed rushed. You get hints with a radio which is personally not my favorite. I like being able to read through it a couple of times. When we Won, the GM didn’t come to get us, so we walked out to the lobby, and the timer never stopped at the end; it was a bit odd. It left us wondering if we broke something and finished or what.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Honestly, it wasn't anything I hadn't seen before. From what I expected, I was sadly underwhelmed the room could have taken it up to a whole other level with minimal but important changes.
They didn’t give us any plot besides reading the poster when we booked
This room didn’t mesh with me, and the cryptic notes in the room didn’t help; luckily my party got it much more then I did.
The room was a more lock-focused room with some simple but excellent tech components
I’d say 4 to 6 is probably best for the size and the puzzles you can do simultaneously.
It was a rather dark room, so maybe a bit spooky for younger kids at the start.
With the need to puzzle through the notes and be observant, I’d recommend it to a kid who likes reading and puzzling.
Some rough props and paint but nothing crazy. Well loved not broken.
Physically active
Somewhat
You do not need to crawl or reach above head height. However, you must go a bit low to get some items, so be aware. Otherwise, most other is moving items and boxes.
Accessibility
It may be a bit tight in some spots, but otherwise, it would be accessible for a wheelchair, for people who are hard of hearing the radio hints are a major downside but other than that it would be fine. For colour blind one puzzle dose use colours so be aware of that though it's spelled out. The room is on the dark side but you can use flashlights. For dyslexics be very careful about reading (it killed me).
The location is excellent and easy to see from the road. The turn-in may be hard depending on the day
It's a smaller strip mall, so maybe on a crazy day, it may be more challenging, but the lot has a good amount of space
