You’re about to inherit a vast historic estate—if you can clear your name of murder. You are Robert Montgomerie, the only remaining direct heir to the Kildermorie Estate and the Montgomerie family fortune. You’re attending a family gathering hosted by your Grandfather, Hugh ‘Monty’ Montgomerie, the 9th Earl of Kildermorie, to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium. As the guests raise a toast, a scream fills the air…and your Grandfather is found dead in the library. It looks like MURDER, and as the direct heir, all fingers are now pointed at you! Will hidden clues reveal distant family secrets? With the police on their way, can you gather enough evidence and piece the story together to provide your innocence? And the biggest challenge of all: Is it even remotely possible to solve the mystery before the clock strikes 12?

Contains a lot of puzzles that require giant leaps in logic- one doesn’t include a key for deciphering. A few malfunctions with props either not opening or not registering, but the GM was very helpful and attentive to fixing the problems as they arose. The GM is fantastic and worth visiting just to see, but the rooms seem old and outdated.

There were a couple of issues with this room. One of the things got stuck (I don’t want to say what because that will ruin the surprise), and also, the last puzzle didn’t make sense. As another person on this page said, the GM couldn’t even explain or figure out how to get the answer, she just knew what the answer was. So, we say we won, because the last puzzle was flawed. It was still a fun experience, but I think the last puzzle needs work.

This was a great room. The puzzle design was unique many of the puzzles, very fun. It was a little on the hard side one of the puzzles required big leaps of logic connecting multiple things in the room. Hint: look at *everything* so you don’t miss any of these pieces. Clues will be in not obvious places but right in front of your face

You’re right about this room rewarding careful observation; it’s packed with little connections that only click when you’ve seen everything. Appreciate the pro tip for future teams! At the end the GM was trying to show my group how to do the last puzzle and was unable to do it herself. Other than that liked the room.

One of the harder games here but we enjoyed it. They have deals on certain days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) so I would suggest finding one of those days and 3 other friends and clearing out a couple rooms
