JPEscaper
20 escape rooms
I had higher hopes for Cerebral, especially with a higher price point than the other games but it really fell flat. The room was HOT, it felt like no AC in the California summer evening weather and the GM offered to bring us a floor fan to help. I don't want to be overly critical, but the room is kinda shabby. Just some very simple furniture, wires showing everywhere, baseboards and paint coming off, and no soundtrack or music so it was dead silent. The puzzles were not bad, but things kept breaking which made everything take longer on top of multiple puzzles not being easy to go from point A to point B. The intercom to get hints didn't work so the GM had to come in to give clues when requested. Its not terrible and we still had fun, but I wouldn't recommend this room at its current price as there's nothing in it to warrant the difference. Play bomb threat instead, that single room game is more enjoyable than this one.
