Seeking Sasquatch

We had a disspointing experience at this room when we attempted it a week before it was closed permanently. During the pre-game chat and overview, the game master mentioned that there were a few things not working in the room but they weren't going to fix them because the room was going to be closed the next week anyway. This included the micophone/speaker to communicate with the game master, and so instead they provided a walkie-talkie for communication that died part of the way through our experience... so much so that one of us had to leave the room to go track down the game master and get some help. The lighting in the room was dim for ambiance and theming, but it made it nearly impossible to see some of the important elements, including a puzzle on dark gray rocks that had important things painted in black on them. It just seemed like a poor choice. The game master was apologetic, but I just think that if you weren't going to fix the broken elements before the room officially closes, then there were other options: Close the room a week early... Let those who book the room know about the issues on the website before booking... or offer the room at a discount during its last week of run. We only did one room while we were in Pittsburgh for the weekend, and chose this one because of its unique theme... and unfortunately it left us wishing we would have chosen some of the other venues we had bookmarked.

Awesome ambiance and really impressive set design! Some immersive elements that we've never seen. It is very challenging to see, as other reviews have shared. We probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for a couple small issues with a puzzle piece being missing from the game's last reset and it being hard for us to hear the GM at times. Several clues all aligned to one solution that wasn't actually correct, which also slowed us down too. But besides that, we loved the story and the overall vibe!

Such a great room! The atmosphere is awesome and they did a really good job making you feel like you’re in the forest. Like others, my only complaint is the lighting, but we got through it.

What a piece of art! Beautiful room. Great puzzles. Loved it. Barely escaped but we did it in the nick of time.

One of my personal favorites. Creative set and puzzles. Cool way to monitor time lapsed. Must do if in Pittsburgh.

The room was very fun and had interesting and creative puzzles and set designs. I loved the room and would highly suggest it to anyone wanting to do it

Found Sasquatch and escaped him!!! Great room, lot of great puzzles and they were easy to follow but not super easy to solve. As with all rooms by Pittsburgh puzzle room, you can tell they love escape rooms. Love this team, can’t wait until they make more rooms.

So much fun. This room would be great for all ages. Very immersive. A great mix of G1 and G2 puzzles.

Immersive with an awesome water feature! Fun puzzles that build in difficulty. Good mix of gen 1 and 2 puzzles with a surprise ending. Great staff! My only complaint is the poor lighting
