Welcome to the Armageddon escape room, where an incoming asteroid is set to destroy the world. Work with your team to launch a rocket and save humanity. Set in an abandoned Cold War bunker, can you get the bunker working and destroy the asteroid in time?

This is a wonderful room. This is the type of room that feels totally unachievable for about 15 minutes but you just gradually work through tasks and start achieving. You start to feel like it might be close then sadly it’s done. We were totally immersed and loved all the retro equipment and puzzles. It was very hands on and we’ve never felt quite so much like we were in the A-Team. Absolutely brilliant fun and we can’t wait to get back and try another room.

Brilliant. We've done a dozen rooms with other outlets already but this one has unique aspects. Intro videos, ambient sound like a dramatic movie, it really put on the pressure! There is a crawlspace one person will need to enter, so make sure someone in your team is happy commando crawling.

Armageddon is the first room I've done at The Escape Key in Newcastle and what a great first impression, the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, the set design is some of the best I've seen in the North East. The game itself is a multi room escape and all of the space is used incredibly well. The puzzles throughout the room flowed seamlessly even with a non linear ending sequence the puzzles linked well and made sense for the story at hand. Some unique puzzles in this room that utilise technology from the time period the room is themed on. Can't wait to get back to do their other 3 rooms. Great room and friendly hosts. The games played really well working it's way through the story. Before you go in there is a video to set the scene which shows the dedication and work the team put in. Loved the Comms device in the first room and there sare some good unique elements. Definitely recommend

Awesome room that had great use of effects and space available! Fun storyline and very interactive
Staff were incredible, host was extremely bubbly and heightened our playtime
