Based in Newcastle city centre EXIT is certainly one of the top escape companies in the North East. I'm an absolutely massive Horror fan so finding out I was going to play a horror game got me really excited. The GM of the game made this even more intense by bigging up how scary the game was before we started, telling us there might be live actors, spiders etc. Turns out there were neither... Great room overall, got hung up on a really easy puzzle at the start due to the atmospheric darkness of the room. The set and theming of this room is great, certainly feels atmospherically creepy. Although this room is a horror room I would say this lent more towards spooky than scary. The puzzles matched the theme perfectly throughout and assisted developing the story. Difficulty - 2.5 / 5 Puzzles - 3.5 / 5 Theming - 3.5 / 5 Set Design - 3.5 / 5 Enjoyment - 4 / 5 Value For Money - 4 / 5
Gameplay
Solid room, got hung up on a really easy puzzle at the start due to darkness. Should have finished in less time.
Atmosphere
Solid atmosphere, would be more immersive at night.
