Riddled

This room was very different to any sort of room which I have experienced before. I must admit I was apprehensive to begin with however once I got into it the room was very enjoyable and a good laugh. I liked the way how all the puzzles flow together but with a funny twist. There was a variety of puzzles and had electronic elements which were worked very well and a traditional padlocks were seen throughout the room. This was probably one of the most fun I’ve had in a room.

Kind of found it funny I was doing this, of all rooms, for my 200th room. I have to say, they fully embraced the theme. The puzzles were clever, but as mentioned in my blow-by-blow (ha!) breakdown, it’s a pain in the butt to read numbers off of shiny metal tumblers in a dim room via flashlight. While it wasn’t amazing, it was still enjoyable.

This game was very ‘middle of the row’ for me, I didn’t hate it, and there were some stand out puzzles, however there were many elements that we felt could be re-imagined for a more satisfying ending (pun absolutely intended!). Unfortunately, the voice over clue system is one that can be easily overbearing, and for us, we felt that our host intervened too much, joining in with our conversations and distracting us from getting on with the puzzles/ jumping in too soon to tell us we were wrong. This being said, the set was very fitting and made for a good few laughs along the way!

Such a giggle!! Definitely a game that sticks in your head for all the right reasons
