The Vikings were not the only ones who visited North America in ancient times – legends say that a Slavic tribe used to inhabit the Northern Forests. This mystical clan left Slavic lands B.C and settled in the deepest forests, which is now known as the Canadian woods. For generations, they followed and worshiped their gods relentlessly. Traces of this lost culture were discovered by rare explorers who wandered into the North. Very few documents indicate the presence of this tribe that once thrived on North American soil. With a team of young enthusiasts, you decide to follow a trail that you stumbled upon in a history book at an old bookstore. It speaks of an old shrine that holds a mystic idol and can be found somewhere alongside of the Red river. You decide to mount an expedition to find out if the legends are true.

Après avoir fait plusieurs Escape du Terpeca, ce n'est pas le meilleur Escape que j'ai fait, mais j'ai quand eu du plaisir avec mes amies! Les décors sont bien et les énigmes intéressante. Environ 3/4 sont des cadenas. Accueil sympathique, mais pas vraiment d'ambiance installée avant d'entrer dans la salle.

Overall, no AMAZE games have stood out to us, and this may have been their last chance. None of the ideas are particularly original, nor well executed. Also, our GM was soooo awful. Reason enough not to come back. Overall, if you want an easy game as teenagers or for a family, this is good, not scary, and the puzzles aren’t hard.
Gameplay wasn’t clear and definitely wasn’t linear. The atmosphere was kind of sad, just a dingy, black room instead of a cool pyramid, which could have been achieved with any more effort.
Boring. Nothing special, next rooms were obvious with no effort to conceal, the rooms have not been updated in years and it was a disappointing environment.
Our GM was extremely unprofessional and honestly rude. She had glasses and black hair, and we found her unwelcoming. She didn’t say hello, she told us to “go sit on the couches now” to give us our instructions. when we asked for a clue about a puzzle, instead of saying “how can I help you?” as every other GM we’ve ever had has, she asked “what?”. When we finished the game, instead of saying “you won, congratulations! Do you have any questions? Would you like a picture?” She came in and said “hiiiii, alright you’re done.” And began reassembling the room. We offered her the walkie talkie back, and she said “take it to the front.” When we re-entered and asked for a photo in the room, she said “yeah. Obviously.” She was the worst GM we’ve ever had, and we’ve had a lot. Definitely a bad look for AMAZE atwater, and if the room weren’t as disappointing as it was, she’d be reason enough not to come back.

This room was dissapointing. It is rated as hard however it took us less than half the time to escape. Initially we were a bit confused as you are placed in the room with very little instructions, however on e we got started the puzzles were very straight forward and easy to solve. There weren't many puzzles and we didn't find this room to be challenging.
