Permanently Closed - Benedict Pettywood, your English Professor, is rumoured to have spent over 60 years teaching at the Augustus Institute for Higher Learning. He’s a wise and tough teacher. Recently, while in the Library, you come across a yearbook from decades ago. You find Professor Pettywood’s photo and quickly realize he looked the same then as he does now — it’s like he hasn’t aged! You start to pull nearly every year book from the year the Institute opened, and he is in every single professor roster since the day the school opened in 1877. This week, Professor Pettywood is away at a conference, so you decide to sneak into his Quarters and see what he’s hiding. His secretary will be returning from her break soon, so you must uncover his secret before she returns and finds you snooping around; which is grounds for expulsion!

This room was ok. It was a bit small for the 5 of us, i would not recommend doing the room with more than 4. Puzzles were decent, except for one of them towards the end. We got stuck on it because of how poorly something was created for the puzzle making it ridiculously ambiguous and forcing us to ask for help that we really didn't need.

Standard, flow was ok, kind of "meh"

Fairly standard, a lot of locks. Plus a directional lock that is always annoying!

Sadly, not our favourite room, ambiguous and not a great flow. There are rooms at this location that are better options. Some parts of this were fine but for the most part the puzzles are awkward and unnatural.

All in all a decent room. We attempted it in a team of 2. Our one annoyance was a puzzle that we got stuck on for the last 10-15 minutes before running out of time. When we asked the staff to tell us how it was solved they couldn't figure it out either after a few minutes of playing around with it. It also had a physical component that made it very hard for a team of 2 to do, but which could have been easily solved with stickers or magnets. All told, it was a very poorly designed puzzle that just stopped us in our tracks.

It was pretty standard. Find some secret before the Professor returns. There was atmospheric stuff but it was all exactly what you would expect.

Story

Plot didn't do much aside from setting the tone. But it was decent.
