Permanently Closed - It’s date night, and you and your significant other have decided to go all out. You’ve even been able to secure a reservation at The Jade Window, the most exclusive restaurant in town. However, you quickly come to realize that none of the 5 star reviews seem to mention how incompetent the staff is or how disgusting the facility. Ready to wrap up and leave as quickly as possible, you realize no one brought their wallet and are unable to pay the bill, and the staff won’t let you leave until they receive some form of payment. Do you have what it takes to ensure this restaurant gets its just desserts and find some way to end this disastrous dinner date?

We had heard good things about this company but it was quite the hike to Festus. We decided to make it a date night to do The Date Night (Disaster) and are so glad we did. The owners greeted us before we played and they were an absolute delight!! We chatted before and after the game and realized these were fellow enthusiasts who knew how to put together a room. The room was adorable and captured the feeling of a quaint little restaurant you might find in Little Italy. Yes, this was a lock heavy room, but the clever puzzles were fun to figure out and most of the solutions went to a lock in the vicinity of the puzzle. Overall this was a great room for two and made me want to come back and play everything they created! 10 out 10!

This was our third game of the night and our seventh game within 24 hours. We were EXHAUSTED. Luckily, our game master was so attentive he knew precisely when to chime in for an extra nudge to get us through it. The room is well-decorated, but it is lockbox heavy. This may be a turn-off to some veteran players, but If you're in the area, just do all of the rooms here, as every game is lightyears better than the vast majority of rooms in existence. Dinner Date Disaster had some puzzles that I really enjoyed, it was difficult to know which lock the solutions went into, but that's okay. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the room more than make up for it!
