Almost Famous

No flow at all to the game. Nothing made sense to open locks. 100 percent do not recommend at all. GM seemed annoyed that we wouldn’t lock up phones due to kids being home sick. The end of the game was fun and funny but everything else was just annoying.

Mechanics and puzzles didn't work, gm gave unprompted and unhelpful hints. Just overall not fun at all.

Very fun room. Themed really well, cool use of props, unique. We loved this room. You can tell the owners really enjoy what they do. Tropic Escape Room really is perfect for smaller groups. I wouldn’t recommend anymore than 4 players (or maybe even 2-3) in their rooms.

Very unique concept and theme. The room was decorated well and the puzzles in and of themselves were interesting. It was hard to know what triggered an action and we felt like we completed one puzzle twice before it opened something. The GM was unresponsive to requests for clues at around the 18 minutes left mark and we went to guess and check mode. It seemed like some actions needed triggering by the GM and didn't happen timely. Overall it was a fun room and I would recommend based on the unique theme.

We enjoyed the unique theming on this room - always love to see new ideas. The set was basic, but effective. Everything flowed well and made sense. There was one puzzle we really didn’t enjoy, but the rest was fun.

My partner and I loved this room, it reminded us of a rollercoaster ride which the creator confirmed it was inspired by! Very immersive experience, and we came across puzzles we definitely never did before. Owners were super friendly and extremely helpful, even suggesting more rooms to us. We’re not from this city but next time we pass through we’re definitely trying more rooms.
